Prospects for the Property Industry in the Political Year
20 July 2023 - by Admin

The property industry in Indonesia has been resilient and has withstood various political eras over the years. As the country prepares for another 5-year democratic party in 2024, there may be disruptions to political stability. However, it is anticipated that Indonesia's economic situation will tend to stabilize during this political year.

Past experiences from the political years of 2009, 2014, and 2019 have shown that the property market, especially the residential segment, experienced corrections in annual demand during these periods. However, after the political years, notably in 2009 and 2014, the property performance rebounded in the following years.
